Creating Art That Tells A Story
Every piece of artwork begins with a feeling.
For me, the eye is more than just a subject. It can capture emotion, memories, and moments that are often difficult to express through words. Through color, detail, and patience, I create artwork that invites people to look closer and find something within it that speaks to them.
Someone once told me that art is like a poem: the artist creates it, but the meaning belongs to whoever experiences it. I’ve carried that idea with me ever since. I can create a piece with one feeling in mind, but someone else might see an entirely different story — and neither interpretation is wrong.
I saw that for myself when I created a drawing of a woman with flowing hair. A customer looked at it and saw an angel. She was reminded of a childhood memory when her daughter drew an angel for her, which she later had tattooed on her arm, and she connected that memory to my painting. That moment showed me exactly why I love creating. I could have never imagined that someone would connect to my painting in such a personal way, especially when I had painted it with a completely different story in mind. Sometimes, the meaning you never intended becomes someone else’s favorite part of the piece.
More Than A Painting
My journey as an artist started with curiosity and a desire to create something meaningful. What began as painting for enjoyment slowly grew into something bigger — a way to share my creativity, connect with others, and build a brand centered around art with purpose.
Each original piece is handmade one at a time. From the first idea to the final brushstroke, every decision becomes part of the story. No two originals are exactly alike, because every piece carries its own emotion and personality.
